Privacy policy
What we collect, why, for how long, and your rights. Written in plain language.
Last updated: 18 September 2026
1. Who we are
The data controller is ANTERIOR — Eva Otrusinová and Erika McGregor, Prague, Czech Republic.
You can reach us through the contact form or by replying to any email we send you.
2. What we collect and why
Course registration
When you register for a course we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), practice or clinic name (optional), your notes to us, and — if you ask for an invoice — your company billing details. We use this to reserve your seat, send confirmations, payment details, reminders and practical information about the course, issue an invoice, and match your bank transfer to your registration.
Legal basis: performance of a contract (your registration) and our legal obligations (accounting and tax records).
Payments
If you pay by card, the payment is processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure page and never reach our servers; we only receive a confirmation that the payment succeeded, the amount, and Stripe's reference number. If you pay by bank transfer, we see the details your bank sends with the payment (name, account number, variable symbol).
Contact form and book inquiries
When you write to us or ask about the book we keep your name, email address, phone number (optional) and your message so that we can reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering your request.
News about courses and publications
Only if you tick the optional box, we keep your name and email address to send you occasional news about upcoming courses and publications. You can withdraw this consent at any time — every message has an unsubscribe link, or simply write to us. Legal basis: your consent.
Website analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate location, device type). Google Analytics sets cookies; Cloudflare Web Analytics does not. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell data.
3. Who else sees your data
We share personal data only with providers we need to run the service:
- Stripe — card payments (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland).
- Microsoft Azure — hosting of this website and its database (EU region).
- Our email provider — delivery of confirmations and other messages.
- Cloudflare and Google — website analytics as described above.
- Our accountant — invoices and payment records, as required by law.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
4. How long we keep it
- Course registrations — for the duration of the course and then as long as accounting law requires us to keep invoices and payment records (currently 10 years in the Czech Republic).
- Cancelled or deleted registrations — a record of the cancellation (name, email, course, reason) for up to 3 years, so we can answer questions about refunds and past bookings.
- Contact messages and book inquiries — up to 2 years after our last reply.
- Marketing consent — until you withdraw it.
- Analytics data — as set by Google Analytics (14 months) and Cloudflare.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can at any time:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted, where we no longer need to keep it;
- restrict or object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- withdraw consent to marketing emails;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz) or the authority in your own country.
To exercise any of these, use the contact form or reply to one of our emails. We answer within one month.
6. Cookies
This site sets a session cookie needed for forms to work and for administrators to log in, and Google Analytics cookies for statistics. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
7. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Substantial changes affecting registered participants will also be announced by email.
